1 monarch every 5 minutes coming from the north​. I was watching from about 10am-2pm outside my business in NW Austin. I guesstimated 50 total for the day.

I hope to see more today. It's sunny and the wind is blowing 20-30 out of the north today (October 28). ​High 80. I went to Balcones Canyonlands Liatris field at Doeskin ranch this morning but the liatris blooms were gone already. I didn't see any flying or roosting. I'm going to be looking a lot more this afternoon as it warms up and I get stationary in Jonestown.
