Today I saw 2 small Monarch caterpillars in my Tropical milkweed, which is growing scarce now. There is enough fresh foliage for them to mature.

In the past 4 days I have released 8adults freshly emerged from their pupal cases.
I have 10 pupae remaining and hope they all emerge successfully.

I lost 3 pupae from unknown causes .. no signs of parasites. I had 4 that drowned during the recent rains.
