Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 10/23/2015

Number: 5

In the school garden all the milk weed has leaves and are in full bloom. We have had a steady stream of monarchs fluttering and feeding. When we looked at the plants we see eggs, larva small and large. We are waiting to find the chrysalises. I can't believe we are seeing these so late in the year. It is still 80 degrees day and 68 at night.
