Monarch butterfly was hanging out on bath towel I had I placed under my mailbox (hanging on brick outside we'll. A few days later (10/27/15)--and because of rain, I brought the towel inside to dry it, totally forgetting to watch for the butterfly, found it on my floor and took it back outside. Sheltered it from the rain. The next evening (10/28/15) I checked on it, only to find the wings in two separate places...and assumed some prediitor got it-/ maybe a wild spider, three of which I've seen recently outside my house....
