My son and I visited Moundville Archaelogical Park. Almost immediately after we left the museum to explore the grounds around 4:30 p.m. Central time my son spotted a Monarch. It was flying about twenty feet above us along the edge of a wooded area. It seemed to be scouting out a place to land for the evening. I lost sight of it in the trees after a couple of minutes.
