Number: 29
Observation time: 4:30pm-6pm. Winds E @ 9mph. I had only seen 1 on the ground all day so I decided to take out my swarovski binoculars and panned the sky. I'm so glad I did. There they were streaming southbound one by one. I could see their color and form easily with the binoculars and against a partly cloudy sky. In a period of 90 minutes I counted 29. Most were 50-100 feet high (if not higher), gliding EXTREMELY fast. Some were circling in the thermals for lift, and would then would stream off. My observation was on my land over a 10 acre open field.
