looks like my 2 girls are going to spend the winter here again this year.i went on vacation for 2 weeks and nobody fed them so i assumed they would go south. but i heard the familiar chirping in the tree tops, cleaned and filled the feeders and i've been sitting at my bird window this morning watching 2 female ruby's chase each other around the yard stopping in between to get a quick drink.
