I went outside this afternoon to witness an apparently wild Monarch ELF on milkweed plants that I had potted up on my patio. I collected 58 eggs. Don't know if they are viable. Have never had egg-laying after the first of October, even with available milkweed plants. A friend reported egg-laying in Stillwater, OK about a week and a half ago. This is crazy. We have not had a frost to kill off the milkweed.
