Its blurry and hard to see in the picture, but in the middle of the leaf in the picture is the Monarch larva hatched out of its egg shell feeding on its shell. It had a little black head and couldn't had been days old and about 1/32" big. Another one of those things you just think you would never see even after years of looking. More larva? Here I go again.....
