Sightings report image

This morning, our neighbor/good friend passed away.
She has been such a help in raising the Monarchs each
season! She appreciates them. She grows the milkweed, and I pick the leaves. She also will not let people mow the milkweed plants on her property.
She also babysits my hatching chrysalis, if I cannot be with them at the time.
When we got home from the hospital this afternoon, we looked over at her house, and were so surprised to see a Monarch butterfly flying around!! Today is 11/1/2015, a cloudy day, around 64 degrees.
My husband was able to take a picture of the male butterfly on a dandelion. There are hardly any flowers available now, because we have had many frosts already.
It was an amazing site!!! So Special...God sent a smile to us. :)
