I was cleaning out plants that were frost killed and there it was, feeding on the last few blooms of my tithonia plants. I watched it for about 30 minutes than it flew south and gone.
I was shocked to see one this late, its been very cold here the last week and we have had 2 hard frosts. I guess they are pretty hardy.
