I had been monitoring and reporting the migration of the Monarch Butterflies. I tried raising a egg to chrysalis stage, but it died. So I just gave up hoping I could raise some butterflies this year.

But today as I was picking seed from my plants, I found a BIG larvae on one of the plants. I'm so excited. Have no idea how far along he is, but hope he is close to chrysalis stage. Here is a picture.
