Finally!! Happy caterpillars appearing on our milkweed and small numbers (3-5)of adults enjoying the gardens. We have had record heat and record rainfall almost daily here in central FL since June, followed by hoards of predator wasps and snails that I have not seen in the 30 yrs we have lived here. Nectar and host plants were all stunted then eaten. Started seeing regrowth quickly and full blooms 2 wks ago. Monarchs started coming this week.
