Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 11/10/2015

Number: 7

Out of the 13 eggs I had found 7 larva. Being 3 weeks old they were no bigger than just hatching out of their eggs. I usually do not like to interfere with the larva, but being on clippings in pots if they fall to the ground they will not be able to crawl back up the milkweed stock to feed. I feel it warrants me to intrude. The colder weather is keeping their size stagnated as compared to their summertime counterparts. So I brought 7 in to raise and release since the last group went well.
