A friend in Arcade has seen a hummer at her feeder as recent as November 9. She even saw it a couple days earlier when there was a frost. The hummer was pecking at the frozen sugar water in the feeder. She quickly filled it with fresh solution.

Nectar-filled flowers are now far and few between and I'm afraid most people have taken their feeders down.

It has been a mild November and it looks like this same weather will continue, so maybe the hummer has time to make it further south before the temperature dips below freezing daily and snow flies.
