We released our surviving captive-reared monarch yesterday, on a sunny day with temps in the low 60s. It was in the 40s in the early morning. I coaxed our little guy out of the habitat onto my finger and gently situated him on a still-blooming milkweed plant. Fingers crossed for our little guy!
