Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 11/12/2015

Number: 3

How do they do that?
The weather was rather nasty today: high winds with gusts of more that 45mph and a fine, stinging drizzle of rain. But the hummingbirds were playing. They filled up at the feeders because there were no flies or gnats to catch and they chased each other through the bare branches of shrubs and trees. Never mind the wind. It may have made it difficult for humans to walk but did not slow down the Anna's. They never missed a beat.
