Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 11/12/2015

Number: 8

We have had approximately eight to ten monarchs visiting our garden throughout the day again, as we have had each day this week. About just as many females as males. It appeared as if a few of the females were depositing eggs on the milkweed leaves. The weather has been in the seventies during the day and fifties and sixties at night. Sunny and breezy. They have been feeding from the zinnias, vincas and milkweed as well as from our hummingbird feeder. We have also had quite a lot of Gulf Fritillaries, yellow Sulphurs and Skippers.
