This beautiful monarch was sunning itself in the parking lot of a shopping center @ 1:12 est today. I noticed his presence as I was leaving. I stayed with it. Blocked the wind he climbed on my finger and flew away. We had a frost last night. It is very late in the year. There were more in the area the 3rd week in October, but to see one today, I had to report this as it is odd.
