Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 11/17/2015

Number: 10

Today we learned that it takes many milkweed plants to feed one caterpillar. We watched the larvae crawl up cactus, okinawa spinach and succulents looking for more milkweed. In this pic you can see that when the leaves ran out, then the catterpillars began to eat the stems. We need to grow more MILKWEED!!
