I work on the 8th floor of a building in Elmwood, LA and noticed the sun setting @ 4:45pm and how beautiful the clouds were. Noticed one cloud that was smaller and much darker than the rest. Looked out the window 20-30 minutes later and the dark small cloud was in nearly the same location while everything else had changed. Grabbed binoculars and observed cloud was a dark red, slowly shifting mass and approx 5-10 miles away, possible near the city of Boutte, LA and heading SW. Enough individuals to totally block the setting sun rays behind.
