Adult male rufous, first seen on 11/27/15 sheltering under porch roof from rain. Placed feeder out after he was observed. He is staying nearby and returning frequently to feed and perch under porch roof sheltering from the rain. He may be the same bird that came through this summer with the Ruby Throats. He was here for just a few days this summer and then disappeared. This one seems to "know" where food was here before based on his perching choices which makes me think he's the same bird. I still have several hummer friendly plants with blooms, although they've been soaking wet for a few days now.
