On November 27, I posted that we had a male hummer trapped in a skylight space on our partially enclosed porch. He arrived Thanksgiving day and seemed unable to leave. We hung a feeder at the bottom of the skylight and he finally started visiting it late Friday, but still would not leave the skylight.

He gradually spent a lot of time at the feeder, to the point where he was not afraid of us when we would come and go.
I am happy to report that as of Saturday evening, November 28, the hummer has left for the great outdoors.

We have moved the feeder back to our back deck, and have seen two hummers feeding. Not sure if our temporary resident is one of them.
