Four classes of second graders planted tulip bulbs. We planted 108 bulbs in three days. We began planting them Friday, November 20 and finished Tuesday, November 24. The ground was frozen solid Monday and Tuesday, but Friday was a nice day to work in the garden. It was not easy, but we had fun planting them and got super messy! We were not able to make a map of the garden because it became too difficult to keep up with who was planting where.
