On Tuesday November 3 our class planted tulips. The average temperature was  57F, the high temperature was 72 F. We planted the tulips in the garden near our classroom and in front of the classroom window so we could see the tulips out the window. To make the hole (it needed to be 7 inches deep) we used shovels (some big some small). After we dug the hole we put the tulip bulbs at least three and a half inches apart. Finally we covered the hole with dirt and were done!
I think that the tulips will emerge in the beginning of spring and they will bloom in the middle of spring. Planting tulips is extremely fun!

We planted our tulips near the metal fence around the school yard. It was a nice and bright space for the tulips. We encountered a lot of rocks some were rough and some were smooth others were big but more were small, and another group even found a big chunk of concrete!

We planted our tulip next to the stairs that the busers use  go up to the school.   On a beautiful day, temperature that day was - high 66f low 44 f. Our tulip’s name is  “Timmy the Awesome!”

We planted near where the buses line up on a steep hill. We hope the tulips blend in so the deer won’t try to eat them.
