I found 3 healthy and large monarch caterpillars. I took two in to keep warm and hopefully they will become butterflies soon. The 3rd I left outside to see if it would survive. I went back later to bring it in (out of worry that my chickens would eat him) but I couldn't locate it on the milkweed.
