Monarch Fall Roost
Sightings report image

Date: 12/02/2015

Number: 1000

There are thousands clustered together in an ash tree (near a eucalyptus tree) in the Aquatic Park in Berkeley - between frisbee golf disc spot 5 and 14 (frisbee golf markers).

After the sun goes down, they stop moving, but when the sun is out, they fly around a bit & it's marvelous.

Scientists are saying that this is the first time monarchs have clustered like this in Berkeley.
