The eight first grade classes of Eisenhower Elementary have planted 175 tulip bulbs in the test garden. We were careful to plant them 7 inches deep and 4 inches apart. The week we planted was sunny, and a little windy. The temperatures were between 65 and 75 degrees each day. We have made our predictions and anxiously await the arrival of spring and the blooming of our tulips.
