The temperature of the air in the garden was 68 degrees F, and the weather was sunny with no cloud cover. Our soil temperature was on average 52 degrees F at approximately 4 inches in depth in the soil. We did not measure at 7 inches, although all students agreed we should have measured again at that depth after the fact. We were comparing our temperature at 4 inches to a soil map. We planted 48 bulbs and believe we may miss the emergence. We have spring break in mid- March.
