birdbath still in operation! Mild, no ice yet. Saw three robins in it at the same time today. Also enjoy seeing recently an occasional bluejay and cardinal taking water. Don't really remember seeing a cardinal take water at the birdbath before. Couple weeks ago noticed 5 different forsythia bushes with partial blooms along a for mile stretch leading to here. The other day a flock of starlings took to the tree tops for a couple hour break, sounded awesome while working then it was gone in an instant. What was left was the sound of robins. Noticed a lawn that had alot of white dandilions today with just a few still yellow and there was one white dandilion in my yard. our killing frost that got the flowers around the house came a few weeks ago, much later than norm.
