Although tropical milkweed were cut to half their height and tucked away in the greenhouse about 10 days ago, I found 8 caterpillars that looked like they were 4-5 days old munching on the new growth. A cold front is coming next week, but it was 80 degrees today, so I hope it gets warm enough to release them after they eclose or they can live in the greenhouse with blooming nectar plants and Gatorade to sustain them.
