December 11, 2015, 14 degrees C, part cloud and sun, near Lake Ontario, in Toronto, there is a developing monarch chrysalis. I will try to attach pic. I first noticed the new chrysalis Oct 7, so it is very slow to progress. Amazing to see in December! I have seen a few solidago plants still with bloom, but not near this site.
