Confirmed finally: 3 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in yard simultaneously feeding from feeders. 1 adult male and 1 adult female, and one juvenile female. The 2 females have very different feeding habits to enable separating them rapidly. The adult female is very calm, sits back, sometimes come off feeder to look at me then return to calm feeding. The other female buzzes continually, doesn't light on perch for any length of time. More skittish. The male is pretty calm. Sits fairly near "his" feeder when not feeding. He mixes sitting on perch and flight feeding but more calmly than young female. Fascinating creatures to watch.
