We planted in an open area of our schoolyard. We planted 100 tulip bulbs approximately 4 inches apart and 6 inches deep. We planted an additional group of tulips and daffodils in the same area, as well as in a sheltered area next to our school building. Students created a map of the area in order to monitor emergence of tulips in the spring.
