Today is Dec 15th and while the feeders remain up it has been almost 2 weeks since last sighting. This will be our final posting till next season. Two males continued to use the feeders before a series of extremely cold nights below zero and days not exceeding low 20's stopped their visits. Hopefully they survived the cold and found warmer climate.

Interestingly, on the last day of their visits, while my wife and I were on the deck, the larger of the two males came right up to my face and then hovered almost eye ball to eye ball with Dianna. That transpired for more than a brief period and then he flew off. Has not been seen since.
