In our Peace Garden we have a specially designed garden bed for my special needs students. It is raised, in the shape of a semi circle and has a bench on one side for my physically impaired students. Everyone gets to dig in the dirt.
We had fun digging, measuring and planting our bulbs on the wet December day. "Science is messy" as one of my students shared.
