While riding in my sister's car in Hancock County TN on Highway 63E I spotted a mature bald eagle in a field eating what appeared to be a rabbit. It didn't seem to mind that we were watching. It seemed more interested in it's meal. I spotted nests along Powell River a few times over the past 8 years and occasionally see them flying.
