Rufous Hummingbird, Nutmeg!
Her first three visits of the morning were at: 7:09, 7:13 and 7:17. Temperature was 33°F. As usual, she visited regularly throughout the day. The picture was taken with an iPad set up on my kitchen window, which is why the fence looks so close. This set up allows me to view the feeder from my kitchen, without having to strain looking over the sink and downward to see the actual feeder. Several birders think it is a clever idea, so I thought I'd share. Of course, the pictures are not going to be of the highest quality, especially since taken through the glass window.
