On New Year's Day I was out to start my 2016 Bird List. I saw two Bald Eagles in Lethbridge. Bald Eagles are only usually found here during the winter because of the number of Mallards and Canada Geese that stay. They eat pretty good! On December 19th for the Lethbridge Christmas Bird Count one participant counted 25 Bald Eagles sitting in one tree about 8 km. SE of the city.
