Observed ground-feeding near a Douglas Fir on sunflower seeds/hearts. Although I am reporting the Red-winged Blackbird as first-sighted, since this is the first I've noticed one in 2016, I have had a pair over-wintering here in CentraL Pa. I just haven't spent much time looking for them. I had, however, been spending all my time watching Nutmeg, the Rufous Hummingbird that was here from Oct 21, 2015-Jan 4, 2016. She was banded on Nov 20, 2015.
