We had such a warm December! During the Winter Break students (and teachers) were enjoying temperatures in the 70's. But even with the warm temperatures, all were very surprised when we returned to school and discovered that several tulip bulbs had emerged. Some bulbs even had 2 inches of green growth reaching above the snow line. We hope the very cold temperatures do not injure the new growth and affect the tulips blooming. We will observe, predict, and observe some more.
