I have observed a Young/Juvie Bald Eagle Soaring/Hunting in our rural area 2 miles east of Alva,Oklahoma since the Christmas Holidays. This morning at 10:15 am I watched this Juvie preening his Wing Feathers,sitting in one of the tall Cottonwoods approximately 200 yards north of our Home. I was absolutely positive in I.D.ing this beautiful Raptor. I reported straight away to our Fish and Game Wild Life Officer. He too mentioned an Bald Eagle observed north of Alva just last week.
