I have been hearing the sounds of spring birds over that last week. These birds are not robins and may be migrating. I'm not sure. What I am sure about is that they are the sound of spring. This morning about 7:20am - I was in the kitchen and again - signing only this time very loud and beautiful piercing song. I stepped outside to see if I could see the bird. It was purched on the telephone line and was signing like crazy and then listening to other birds as they responded. This went on for about 10 minutes before very very tiny bird which I could not itentify by sound or sight hoped into the lilac bush below the telephone line.
