We have had approx. 15-20 robins arriving at twilight sitting in the crabapple and flying into the cedar hedges. They have also been swooping in beside the house and we wonder is the soil was warm enough for them to find something to eat. We think that they are roosting in the hedges overnight. This behaviour has been occurring over the last couple of weeks. I have never seen robins this early in Ottawa.
