Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/20/2016

Number: 25

While at work I saw at least 25 Robins who were feeding at 3 small trees with red berries. The weather had been in the 40's the previous week but was dropping down into the 20's and was quite cold. The birds hung around the trees for most of the week. After a couple of days I started throwing out raisins and dried cranberries hoping it would help them survive the cold. The flock has since moved on except for one lone bird. He continues to visit the same tree everyday. I've continued to throw out food. The bird doesn't seem to be hurt, is able to fly but returns to the tree each day.
