There was this is the "useless" ornamental cherry that I was going to cut down come spring. I couldn't think of any uses for the small cherries with icky texture and NONE of the birds or other animals were eating them. Until 1/29. when no less than 100 chirping, beautiful, red-breasted harbingers had descended upon it and drunkenly frolicked after devouring the fermented cherries.
