Early in the morning I saw 1. Later in the day,about 3 pm, I saw my trees and the tree in the yard behind mine filled with them. I have never seen anything like it. When I opened the back door it sounded like spring. The birds were eating small crab apples from my prairie fire crab tree and filling the other trees. It was snowing at the time and has been snowy off and on all week.
