here in florida, we haven't had much of a winter so our milkweed was still growing in our garden. We have seen Monarchs, chrysalis and caterpillars surviving on their own without my help. Normally i bring them in during the spring months and save the eggs and go through the whole process. Right now nature is taking its course.
On 2-2-16 have 6 caterpillars munching away on milkweed.
