first waves arrived several weeks earlier; many robins have been flocking to my property for approx. two weeks with the largest wave the last week of January/first week of February. They are mobbing my two ponds and 8 birdbaths and actively bathing (one larger heated birdbath had 12 robins in it at once). Feeding is occurring on berry-laden redcedars and 2 large mature American hollies. They also have been probing for worms in snow-free areas of the yard. Lots of chatter and occasional singing/calling.
