There is a hedgerow of ~15ft high Leyland Cypress trees on neighboring property line running for 200 ft. While working on myu side of that row where I have about a 250' x 30' wide treed buffer of mixed deciduous, I roused several birds from the Cypress. There was much cackling as well and once I saw the robins =, realized it was their usual alarm call. They typically nest in those cypresses and all around my property. Some seasons ther are dozens of them roosting around!
